Durant’s Thunder Strike First, Take Game 1 105-94

The Thunder took Game 1 in OKC with a score of 105-94. The Miami Heat were in control for most of the first half but the Thunder tightened their defensive grip and looked to their superstars Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook to seal the deal. Durant (36 PTS, 8 REB, 4 AST) came up big as he broke through in the fourth quarter scoring 17 points and lifting the Thunder to their first Finals win in franchise history. Westbrook finished the game with a stellar 27 points, 8 rebounds, and 11 assists. Game 2 tips off Thursday night in OKC at 9 PM EST.
